 The convertible one is awesome as it allows to slowly transition to arms out, one at a time.  My daughter likes to sleep with her hands by her chin and the Woombie allows her to do that. The neck opening is big enough to allow her to suck on her fingers if she is determined enough but it is small enough to keep arms and hands in.

I just bought this two nights ago, and my baby boy is 3 months old. His moro reflex is pretty strong and I've always needed to swaddle him, but he has strong legs and recently I've woken up to find that he's kicked himself out of the swaddle and that the blanket is near his face.. which is pretty scary

 Neeborns sleep and wake often and it's ridiculous to have to unzip them half way so they can move their arms but then freeze because they're not covered. The convertible option is way better and I thought that's what I was paying for.

 The woombie fits him but it won't for too much longer. It put him right to sleep and he cannot break loose like he did in previous swaddle blankets. I would definitely by this again, but be careful with the sizing.
