Whirlpool WED5000DW

Highly recommend Whirlpool for washer/dryer. My parents have a set that’s going on 6? 7? years with no issues, and I liked it so much that I got the same model and mine’s been going strong for 2+ years.

Hi my whirlpool refrigerator/freezer is freezing up and causing my fridge temps to go from 35* to 65*. I can see the coils in the freezer section and they are frozen not allowing air flow. At first I unplugged unit and used hair dryer to defrost. This only helps for a few days then the problem is back.

The other recommended brands, like GE, Bosch, KA... they are all very expensive. The whirlpool I listed seems like it is a good price for a good brand.

The dryer is the Whirlpool WED5000D. My only complaint is that it runs hot, but it's one of few dryers I looked at with extra low and no heat tumble dry options that are easily accessible. You'll have to check if it'll work for your space, it does require a higher voltage outlet.

I have a Whirlpool electric dryer that's almost 2 years old and it stops running and heating after 5 minutes of heating up. I've had 2 repair companies come out and replace a bunch of parts, but it's still happening.

I have a top load Whirlpool washer model WTW5000DW1. Worked great until today. It stopped draining and wouldn’t spin. The red “locked” light would come on followed by the spin light, then they would both go off.

Whirlpool duet dryer. Lint filter wasn't going back in, so I took it apart. These two doors were broken off. Looks like it would be about $70 for the plastic pieces, but the springs, which are miniscule, are about $30 each as well.
