I love this spatula but I couldn't give 5 stars because things sticks to it just as on wood and metal spatulas, especially when frying eggs. I love it's shape and how it handles but unless you spray non stick spray on the flipping edge, bits like eggs will stick a bit

The material that the Red center portion is made of doesn't like coming in contact with the edge of a hot pan. It leaves a bit of red goo on the pan and a nice indent on the spatula. The black material doesn't seem to suffer this condition.

This is a spatula for meats, sauces, veggies etc. Not so good for flipping eggs but thats ok. Glad I bought it and would buy more of the makers products. Black and red plastic material feels very sturdy.
