So in closing, this is the Weber Genesis II. This is the four burner. My opinion is this is a great way to go for the barbecue

I just picked up a Weber genesis II and I love it. Came with cast iron grates and although it’s only a three burner it gets easily over 500 degrees for searing. You can feel the quality when you lift the lid. Never going back to the ol char grillers lol I found mine at a scratch and dent store for $500 which was a steal.

This is NOT directed against Amazon, or the supplier BUT WEBER. A plastic cover missing - igniter does NOT work, Haed to order. You would think that Weber would overnight the parts RIGHT? Not even close - still waiting.... Weber supposed to be the best, be careful that you don't fall of your throne.

Weber Genesis that's built between 2007-2011 I believe.

If its free, it's worth it. These last forever if you can keep the rust away. May need to replace the grates or burner tubes.

I got a new Weber Genesis II grill earlier this summer. My son wants steaks for dinner before he heads off to university. I picked this up to make sure we can do a nice reverse sear on those steaks for his farewell dinner.

Trying to get the fire shelf to be level is difficult to impossible and the directions are not good. The grill itself works great.

I tried, very hard, to convince myself that I could get by with a single cooker for both ‘low and slow’ and direct flame grilling. After considerable deliberation, I ended up with a Weber Genesis and an RT-590. I love both grills.
