 The picture quality is not great, but good enough that I can see whether she is in bed or not which was the main motivator for buying it, so this is not a huge concern for me.  Some definite negatives of this product include poor battery life on the parent unit. It seems to take no time at all for the battery to be down to one bar and need to be plugged in.  My biggest concern with this product is the sensitivity to sound

 Occasionally I hear my daughter making noise in her room, and the monitor does not pick up those noises despite being set to the most sensitive setting (supposedly supposed to pick up even background noises).  All in all, this products accomplishes what I need it to(being able to visually check in on my daughter in her room at night), though there are a couple things that could be better. Not a five star product, but perfectly acceptable for my needs.

 Last ditch effort: I unplugged the battery and left it unplugged. It hasn’t frozen since. The battery had a good charge, so I don’t believe it’s bad (registering 4-4.1v)

 Make sure the parent unit is more than 10 feet away from the camera unit, that's around 3 meters. If not, the parent unit may play a high-pitched screeching noise when switched on. If you hear the screeching noise, take the viewer 10 feet away from the camera unit and press the volume down button to reduce the noise. I love so much about this monitor. My biggest issue is that when I press the volume buttons, it moves the camera. When I press a couple more times it eventually does the volume but I also have to move the camera back.  I got 2 cameras which is great

I love the features of split screen options, the temperature feature has been accurate, the extras like music and nightlight and the stars on the ceiling are loved by my older kids. It's very user friendly
