How is the DD1 compared to the SC2 sport in this time? I heard the Fanatec firmware updates made the DDs better, but how close are they? I am worried the most about the cogginess (or unsmooth turning) of the DD1 before all, as I really do enjoy smooth wheel turning. But I´m quite invested in the Fanatec ecosystem, so unless it´s fact grounded, I would prefer to stay.

DD1 vs SC 2 Sport these days

For SimuCube2: I know that the Pro is worth the extra 200€ price tag due to have a snappier reaction and just a few more details - not a lot but noticeable (by Boosted Media Driving test). I could afford in the next 2 weeks to pull the trigger on the VRS Direct Force Pro, but for the SimuCubes, I would need to save a little bit more - the sport is 300€ extra, the Pro 500€ extra and that is a lot. On the other hand, I don't want do save on the wrong end - like, you don't need to go for the cheapest in your life because then you can not enjoy it, but you also don't need always to go for the most expensive one, cause you can get almost the similiar experience for a better price.

So I bought a TS-PC. Great wheel. But I'm disappointed on one thing. I'll try to explain this as best as I can:

When you turn the wheel, it's not smooth. It's slightly notchy. Almost feels like there is a gear with cogs.  Very similar to the G27 it replaced. 

Does the CSW 2.5 have the same issue? I'm hoping it's much smoother rotating. 

I'm not trying to go to a direct drive wheel unless I have to.

A Question for CSW 2.5 owners.

Hi y'all, I'm wanting to get into sim racing and at first I was looking at the G29 for my first good wheel, but after seeing all the hype about direct drive I think I want to wait and invest in one of those as well as a cockpit (I'm going crazy now lol). I narrowed it down to the Accuforce V2 but I recently saw the news about the CSL DD. Though it's just the base, all together if I build a Fanatec kit with it, it  is still gonna be around $400 cheaper than the Accuforce. I was already ready to throw down for a nice wheel but is the Accuforce going to be that much better than the CSL DD if I go that route? I also read Fanatec has had some issues with customer service so I'm also factoring that in. Thanks for your advice.

Accuforce V2 or CSL DD?

Hey guys my T300 just died and im looking for a new wheel. I started with a g920 before upgrading to a T300 and now i think i want to make the move for a direct drive wheel. I live in Canada so my options are kinda limited.. Fanatec shipping to Canada you get hit with big fees and simulation 1 is just overpriced. So at first i was looking for the thrustmaster ts pc because i have the thrustmaster open wheel add on, shifter and t-lcm pedals but for 1000$ CAD for a belt wheel i think its better to go for a direct drive. I dont race for laptime that much its more for the fun factor so what are the good options for direct drive wheel? The Simagic m10 is 1200$ cad with the gt4 wheel, the simucube 2 sport is 2000$ without a wheel and im not sure i can find a good wheel for cheap to pair with the simucube? So any recommendation would be appreciated! Sorry for my broken english too

Direct drive wheel recommendation

I started ten years ago on an ironing board with a G27 to this..... it’s no triple screen, perfectly cable hidden beauty but it’s mine and today I finished it off with the VRS wheel base and the Cube controls wheel. What a journey and man am I loving it! These wheel bases are incredible!
