Uni Kuru Toga

If you want a good pencil that wouldn’t be as big of a loss if it were lost: UNI Kuru Toga Advance fits that bill. If you break lead the Zebra Delguard is fantastic. If you want a good and cheap everyday pencil the Kokuyo Fitcurve is for you. Huge retractable eraser too.

This is my second Kuru Toga. I use it daily in all of my classes. I lost the first one and it was perfect. This replacement is a little disappointing. It performs nearly as expected but it does not rotate evenly unless I am writing at an uncomfortable angle around 90°.

The pic really doesn’t do it justice. The light reflection on the gold fill plays tricks. The engraving is really very sharp and crisp to the naked eye. I really do love the Uni Kuru Toga Advance. If anyone has a better pencil in .5mm let me know.

This has been my favorite mechanical pencil yet. My second preferred pencil is the Kurutoga Roulette, and I believe that this "High Grade" model is superior for a few reasons. \_Uni Kuru Toga 0.7 - I love the KT mechanism, but it feels super cheap. I use it frequently.

This is a good pencil and it feels like it is made out of high quality materials. It also writes very well. Unfortunately the eraser on this pencil is very small and it is not a readily available size. It is a size C Uni eraser which is even smaller than #Z2-1 erasers. I do like the lead rotation me...

And the Kuru Toga's really do work well, not so much for cursive but pens are better for that kind of writing anyways. The Uni Field 2.0mm click advance pencils were a gem of a find. For use in construction work so they are rugged but work great for regular writing/drawing. Pentel really knows how to make great cheap pencils.

The kuru toga mechanical pencil uses a unique mechanism to rotate lead every time the pencil is lifted off the paper, keeping the lead evenly pointed. Solid, quality pencil. Metal grip is very nice. Rotation mechanism works as advertised.
