 The eco mode is an energy saving mode that Tiny claims increases the range by 20% compared to the normal mode. This is done by reducing the current, so you'll be trading acceleration performance for more range. The difference between the eco mode and the equivalent modes in other brands is that the eco mode doesn't limit the top speed. You'll still reach the top speed as normal mode, it'll just take longer

 I'm not really sure though. If you're looking for the most powerful board in the $1500 or so price range in terms of off-the-line acceleration, this is not it. If you're drag racing, quite a few boards around the same price will beat it, but it still has more than enough power for most people, including myself. In any case, if you're looking for something ultra-high performance, you wouldn't want a flexible deck anyway

 My henchman Max performed his own range test, weighing 75 kilograms or 165 pounds and riding in the highest available mode with all-terrain wheels. His GPS app reported a range of 31 kilometers or 19 miles, and the remote showed 36 kilometers or 22 miles. Remember that many things affect range. Comfortable! Tynee Explorer Electric Skateboard Review

I am pretty new to electric skateboards and am thinking about upgrading to a new board. I currently have an Apsuboard X2, which I'm almost entirely happy with. It goes plenty fast and generally does everything I need. I only have two issues with it. First, there's a hill on my commute that it can't quite carry me up. Second, there's a short stretch of dirt trail/packed gravel that I bought some Cloudwheels for, but the reduction in acceleration and hill climbing ability was awful.

So, I'm looking at some new boards and am very interested in the Ownboard Bamboo AT Pro with 120mm cloudwheels. It has much more powerful motors than my Apsu (1500W\*2 v 650W\*2), but it claims a smaller max load than my Apsuboard (220lbs vs 330lbs). I'm just under 220lbs/99kg. According to that, I'd be maxing out the Ownboard, but have no problems on my Apsuboard other than the one hill.

So my question is how much credit should I give to the quoted max load? Also, how is the max load calculated? It seems that the Ownboard is a little more than twice as powerful as the Apsu. But, is there something else that I'm missing?
