TWSBI Vac700R

However I like to have one of each model, not every color of the same pen. I stay away from the others but the TWSBI VAC700R has perked my interest if I could find a fine specimen used at a respectable price with the wrench.

I would have given it 5 stars, however, the knob on the vacuum system consistently falls off. I initially contacted TWSBI's customer service to inquire about this problem. twsbi and pilot are my favourite brands and i just love the innovation of twsbi. They have good choices between more metal/heavier pens (580ALR) as well as different filling mechanisms (swipe using cartridge/converter/eyedropper and vac700r).

It is nice pen, affordable, with a unique mechanism, worth hain a cllection, and writing with it is pleasant. The pen runs dry periodically and have to shake it downward to get it flowing, but it won’t splatter when doing this. The cap can’t be attached to the end when writing, which I don’t prefer.

The Vac700R is, hands down, my favorite TWSBI and the vac filler is satisfying to use. It's also easier to clean than most other vac/power fillers and piston fillers.

This pen is gigantic. I don't have exact measurements, but people with small hands need not apply. Check out their Vac mini if you want a vacuum mechanism. I KNOW it is BASIC, but that's what I like :p. I like demonstrator BUT after purchasing one (TWSBI vac700r IRIS),. I realize that I like a demonstrator pen IF IT IS EMPTY. I don't like seeing some inks here and there such as in the cap, feed inside clear resin, etc.

Personally, I like the Eco, and have 5 of them, 1 in each nib size ef through stub. I also have 2 of the Go and a Vac700R. All of my TWSBI have worked well from the first filling, and don’t think I have a smoother pen than the M and B nibs in them. For the last year and a half, I have had at least 2 TWSBI pens inked at all times.
