 This one has no problem with it whatsoever which I think is really what won the day for me, as you can see. Nice and easy. I'm even going to put in some citrus, a lime. If it's unwaxed I'd just drop it straight in, if it's waxed I'd probably take some of the peel off, just drop that in as well

 You can put in herbs because again, because it's so delicate, because it's gently working with it, it's not heating it up, you can hear the carrot coming through.  I'm way past Amazon's return window. My bad trusting a company so much that I'd risk not being able to get my hands on the appliance for 90 days.  --- Update: You CAN trust this company!!! They do stand behing their products and will register your waranty if something kept you from doing it before 10 days! They sent me replacement parts and now it is not jamming! I think its a bit of a hazzle to clean. And that too much fiber gets stuck under the auger

 Don't do it unless you have a lot of patience, don't mind wasting lots of juice in the pulp you will strain out or want to just basically drink your veggies and fruits in a slushy pulpy consistency. (I don't usually write negative reviews but I think I should have given it one star)  UPDATE: 6/6/16 OK, so I have juiced with this juicer three or four times now. First, I changed my review from 2 to 3 stars because the quality of the juice is by far and away much better than the centrifugal juicer. It doesn't separate in the refrigerator at all

 I push the pulp around in the cheesecloth to allow the juice to flow through it when it gets clogged until all the juice is strained into the pitcher (which is faster than using the tiny strainer that comes with the machine. Instead of just throwing the soaked pulp away that is strained from the juice, you can twist the contents of the cheesecloth over the strainer and get another couple ounces of juice. If you are willing to do these steps, the juice is awesome, not aerated and does not separate.  Cleaning is not as easy as with the centrifugal juicer

 It takes about twice the time to juice as the Breville centripetal juicer, the juice is the consistency of sludge. Draining it with the supplied strainer is a drag and it is VERY SLOW as it clogs up after just a few seconds..

 Also, if you don't like the bitter taste of the lemon peel, peel your lemon first and it will cut out that sort of bitter, almost grapefruit taste. If you do keep the peel on for a little bit of extra vitamins, you can also add 1 half cup of fresh pomegranate juice just for a little bit of extra flavor and extra vitamins from the pomegranate juice. This juicer is really easy to clean. It's really easy to take apart

 The process includes laying out the items, chopping them to size, assembling the juicer, juicing the items, dissemble the juicer, washing all of the pieces and parts, laying it all out to dry.  Now keep in mind, this is the only juicer I've owned. So I'm not comparing this to other juicers, they may all have these same issues; some might be to lesser degrees. I'm not sure, I'm speaking only to my experience with this one

 Seriously, it's a lot of pieces and rather inconvenient, especially given that fresh juice is supposed to be consumed right away and not made in large batches, per se.  Also, the pulp is constantly stuck in the inch or so of the pulp exit that you can't get to in order to clean it. I had to take a fork and risk scratching the housing repeatedly to get the remaining pulp out each time. Water flush did not work (and yes I had the plug open)

  It works well enough, juices quickly, came packaged properly... It was not described incorrectly or advertised unfairly, I believe I got exactly what I ordered

 This is called the Tribest Slowstar Juicer and it's what we call in the world of juicing a masticating juicer. So, it is, it's fantastic. It's got different parts to it which, you know, some people might think, oh I'm not going to want to clean that, but it's me. You get the best, best juice out of it and the nutrients stay for as long as two to three days because the heat hasn't been introduced to the whole juicing process

 There, that's it and this is the plunger where you don't necessarily need to use it as found, but you know, if you do, just plunge the fruits and vegetables straight through. So if you're like me where you pack everything in to do as quick as possible. Yeah, so use that, get it in, it's fine. The great thing about this, and maybe not those, this part of it pulls out the pulp and you'll see that the pulp when it comes out is so dry, you just pull that all the juice from it and that's where the juice comes out from

 It works, and works well. But its a PITA to use and clean, and is not good for making lots of juice.  I have high expectations for an expensive juicer. This juicer is hard to clean; the little cylindrical screen needs to be scrubbed and soaked

 This wouldn't be a problem if the juicer did not need to be cleaned frequently. I frequently make juice, and if you are using something like carrots, you need to clean it every 16-24oz of juice. You can basically make one glass before you have to clean it. If you are using kale or leafy greens, even more often

If you are making ~1L of juice, get ready to commit a few hours.  The only things it can juice in volume are apples and things like lemons and oranges (which aren't very hard to juice). The pouring cups also dribble, which is super annoying

"Pretty Good"

 And what happens is the pulp backs up, backs up, backs up, and when the pulp backs up you might as well just stop the juicer and clean it out because you're not going to get good quality juice and all of the juice is going to get stuck inside the auger, okay? But this juicer doesn't do that, we love it for that, okay? So here we go, we're going to put this piece right back in, this is your bowl, it snaps in just like that. Next comes this little piece here, this is the part that swishes the juice all the way around and pushes the pulp out and pushes the juice out into this spout right here, okay? That can just be dropped in anywhere, it doesn't have to be any special place. We do the same thing with fast juicers too. So we're going to do celery and we notice that with the Slowstar juicer it does a really good job with celery and I haven't found that to be true in any of the other slow juicers

 And let me tell you something, what makes the slow star juicer so good is because their juice has minimal pulp. Now Jay and I are not interested in drinking pulp with juice, I mean if we wanted pulp and juice we'd be blending. We found that the slow star juicer has the least amount of pulp and the reason why is I figured it out. This little straining basket right here has very small holes in it

 If you have a husband or a spouse that does not like dark leafy green juices the key is to add ginger, apples and citrus like limes or lemons. We're going to put a little bit of ginger root in here now, just like that. See how beautiful that is, you see how dark it's coming out, gorgeous gorgeous. Alright so we're going to put a little bit of cucumber now through this because we just did a little parsley and now we're going to do our spinach, this is fantastic

 We found that the slow star juicer has the least amount of pulp and the reason why is I figured it out. This little straining basket right here has very small holes in it. They're bigger here, smaller here, and this is where the magic is. Now here's that piece, this is the part that goes around and around and around to swish the juice back

 As I took the juice in through my straw, I could feel quite a bit of tiny pulp hit my tongue. Much more than I have with my high-speed juicer.  I'm not looking for perfection, but I did expect better for the price.
