ThieAudio Monarch

But yeah, that is probably going to be my review of the FIAT Audio Monarch. So out of five stars, I gotta be honest, I'm struggling with this one, but...

So yeah, I absolutely recommend it. I think this is fantastic.

I feel that the Monarch edges out the MEST just barely in pretty much every metric (for almost half the price.) For bassier presentations and exciting, V-shaped signatures, you will need to EQ either monitor a bit. If you enjoy natural mids and a balanced presentation of your music with every instrument placed carefully in the soundstage, look no further than the Thieaudio Monarch. For daily listening, I prefer the tuning of the Monarch to most TOTL IEMs I have heard -- and the Monarch packs comparable resolution at a fraction of the price.

I've never experienced that effect with any set priced lower than the THIEAUDIO Monarch and Clairvoyance. Basically every set I've heard over $1000 has those elements that you hear "outside" your head. Campfire Audio Andromeda, THIEAUDIO Monarch and Clairvoyance are by far the most "out of your head" IEMs I've ever heard. However, they definitely won't have the bass impact of your Hero coming from a Legend X owner.

Now the cities opened up and I decided to pull a setup that I can carry elsewhere when travelling and I came across Thieaudio Monarch Mk2 from various sources. But I had to preorder them and it took a month to be able to get them on my ears. Previously I use Moondrop Aria to listen to music, they are great for their price but not able to touch my loudspeakers. Now I switched to Monarch 2, they offered a lot more space and details, actually better than Aria in every single dimension.

If you are willing to go to $90, you can get the that the ThieAudio Monarch II comes with. That thing’s wrapped in paracord! I’m never going back to single-adapter cables.

The final answer is the ThieAudio monarch. I'm a bass head at heart and it fulfills everything I wanted. Ive had them about 4 months and I've loved them every day when I put them on.

Hifiman Ananda, Focal Elex, Goldplanar GL2000, anything of the Sennheiser HD600 series (and also the 58x, and HD800/800s/820), and maybe the Audeze LCD-2C. In terms of IEMs, I think maybe the Thieaudio Monarch and Clairvoyance, and the Kinera Nanna.
