Did not moisturize enough

Apparently as I get older my face gets more dry. I am looking for a daily moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated and sits well under sunscreen and makeup. It sits well under everything but my face was still left feeling dry. I wouldn't mind reapplying but can't really do that over makeup.
