 I can't say enough about how this gel has helped my skin. I use Retin-A and would sometimes get dry, flaky skin - not a good look. I use this in the evening and then put a Cerave cream over it, and then apply my Retin-A, and my skin is so soft and moisturized in the morning. No more flaking, peeling, or irritation, ever

I learned about hyaluronic acid from Dr. Dray, a legitimate, no-nonsense dermatologist who has an informative YouTube channel. What I learned is that in order for this hyaluronic gel to work properly, it must be applied to freshly washed, wet/damp skin and then a moisturizing lotion or cream must be applied over it to trap the moisture in the skin. It will not work well when applied to dry skin or if a lotion or cream is not applied over it

Game changer if used the right way

 You can use every cream that way but anyway, they're trying to sell it on this is all you need and you know what if you have really oily skin and Don't have any concerns like you don't necessarily need retinoids or brightening or acne treatment You can get away with just using one thing But the older you get the more treatments you want to add in and actives and things like that So they're a little bit overselling it. So where things are manufactured And our target audience does play into products because that's kind of the area they're making it for so, okay Let's get to criteria packaging not a super crazy fan of the jar packaging But to be honest, there's really not a lot of ingredients in here that are easily Degraded with exposure to light and air So I just prefer something else because or at least use a little spatula or something like that. I switched to this from the Hada Labo Tokyo Skin Plumping Gel Creme. I really like that one too, but it was making me breakout at times. I use tretinoin at night and I also think with my skin being more sensitive from the tret exfoliation that the preservative in the Tokyo was making me more irritated than it normally would.  It has also no smell so it's fragrance-free the only thing that's a bit like not really annoying but just because it has no smell it smells a bit like clinical so like very very sterile and I don't know it's not like a smell that I personally enjoy but nothing against the product itself because it's fragrance-free it's just like that I personally prefer a fragrance rather than nothing but when it comes to the application how it spreads out it just is so easy to spread out even though it's like a thicker cream it soaks into the skin directly which I do enjoy but for me personally which like didn't work out for me is when I'm using it as a moisturizer before I'm going to apply my makeup. Could be because of my makeup products could also be because of the cream I'm not sure I'm also not a hundred percent sure about that but the way I would use that moisturizer is basically using it on its own when I'm not wearing any makeup and just let it soak into my skin because I know for sure that for example when I'm using my favorite moisturizer which is the Nivea one and also the Velida Skin Food one if you want to go natural then these two are still my favorites which I would put just in front of the ordinary just because I can use these creams in several like different ways also comparing it like not comparing but combining it with my makeup application and it's not like a separate product that I need to use if I don't want to wear makeup. I need help on where to start for someone on a very TIGHT budget so I need things on the cheap side of things (but safe) I'm very paranoid about what these chemicals could do to you. Please help me in listing a very simple dumb down version of what I should be doing, when, and with what and exactly what products to buy so I can go to my local Walmart and find them. Newbie with a very tight BUDGET but need cheap products from Walmart, Krogers and CVS

What I went with was:. The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 - for its moisture-retaining effects as I work in windy conditions and get fine wrinkles by the end of each day.

 The texture of this cream is nice but I have to reapply several times throughout the day which I never had to do with Honest brand. So this isn't really saving me any money because I have to use double the product.

 For the price it’s not worth it. In Sephora the Full size is 10.50 while the Mini Size is 5.80
