Top 6 Reasons I Love Terra Mystica – Meeple Mountain
And while I may have only discovered this wondrous game 5 or 6 years ago, a lot of things were different then.

This game deserves your money
Conclusion: A great way to spend $X. Even if you NEVER play it, people will look at your game shelf and think, "That's a serious gamer." Pros: - Instructions are complete, leaving little ambiguity. - Play gets faster the more you play. - Decent artwork makes this a great game to look at. - You can d...

One of my favorites
This is one my my favorite games that I own. Maybe #1. Very little luck involved, which I love. Takes a little time to set up and new gamers may be a little impatient with that and especially learning the rules. Works fine with two players but great with more since other player's actions can actuall...

Terra Mystica Review
It’s low luck, high strategy and pure cranial demands make it a win in my book. Add that to the fact that each game will play out different with Terra Mytsica’s many paths to victory and there is a lot to love with this eurogame. After quickly selling out of its first print run, it’s finally back in stock

Shelf of Shame: Roads and Boats, Antiquity, Oceans, Millennium Blades, The Search for Planet X, Race for the Galaxy, Junta, Twilight Empirium 4, Terra Mystica, Blood Bowl: Team Manager, Kemet, Tigris & Euphrates, Power Grid, and Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion. Long list, I know.

Definitely on my top 10 list
One of my favorite board games - despite there being a lot to process when learning and it can take some time to setup and put away. When I bought it around the holidays it was missing some of the yellow pieces. I emailed support and they sent me the replacements right away. They were easy to work w...

Beloved board game Terra Mystica is getting a faster, simpler spin-off this autumn
Influential board game Terra Mystica is spinning out with a simplified standalone game, Terra Nova.
Terra Nova boils down Helge Ostertag and Jens Drögemüller’s acclaimed 2012 board game into a shorter one-hour to 90-minute experience for two to four players - one fewer than Terra Mystica’s five-p...

The first game I remember playing that changed this up was Terra Mystica. During setup, you place your VP marker at 20 and then during setup and gameplay, you can choose to strategically spend vps for other benefits. This was mind blowing to me. Having to make the decision of giving up hard earned VPs for long term gain was such an interesting one.

The Fuzzy Llama Silver Seal of Distinction Positive Final Thoughts So overall I really enjoyed this game! The choices were interesting and the different factions were fun. I like the different terrain and how the workers work to transform the terrain based on your faction. Bottom line the gameplay in Terra Mystica is excellent and fun

Fun but complicated.
Bought this for my husband and we love it. It's like a more complicated version of Settler's of Catan. The first time you play it, it's a bit difficult but it gets easier once you understand the system. It's fun but not for the boardgame faint of heart.
