 I did a series of reviews on that and You know I wanted to upgrade to a watch that had built-in GPS functionality for for like hunting applications and hiking and You know just some more serious outdoor type Applications and this watch is just about as good as you can get if you're looking for something like that It's got an immense amount of features that It's pretty much unsurpassed by any other competitor out there. There's not really a watch currently that has Even close to the amount of features that the Suunto Ambit 2 has It'll do absolutely everything that the Core will do so you know do temperature barometer Altitude sunrise sunset Compass all that stuff anything that you have Capability of doing on the on the Suunto core model watch you'll be able to do with this plus you have an assortment of functionality that Comes thanks to the the inclusion of the GPS in this watch So first, let's just talk about the overall design and build of the watch It's very nicely put together.  Press this watch one more time in the center and you have a digital compass. Currently the arrow is pointing directly behind me and that's saying that is north. The watch is currently facing southeast though. Cool feature I like about this watch is no matter if you have it at an angle or not the watch will always point directly, correctly with which way you're trying to get whether it be north, south, east, or west but like I said currently the watch is pointing behind me saying that direction is north

 If you do a 10 second GPS interval you get about 24 hours of battery life, that is continuous GPS use. If you do 60 second GPS intervals you're going to get 50 hours of battery life out of your watch and that is continuous GPS usage. If you don't use the watch very rarely for the GPS you can probably get 2 or 3 months of battery life out of this. The cool thing about this is, like I said, it is rechargeable and to find out your current battery percentage you click this select button down here and there you go, currently my watch is at 89%

 You can use a USB charger and charge your watch through your laptop or your cell phone charger which I think is really really cool. The only downside with this watch is the fact of the price. This watch right here is going to run between $250 to $300 but fear not because Suunto is such a great watch company, they're always coming out with new watches and their users are always upgrading so you can find these used on sale like on eBay and stuff from anywhere from $125 to $160. Still a lot for a used watch but you're getting a great product

 And probably the best part of it is actually the customization. I can add a whole slew of different activities to the watch and I can choose to either have them in the display so I can select them or not have them in the display. I can also go in and in very great detail put in all of the display settings I want so I have up to 8 different screens of information that I can put on that watch which I can cycle through when I'm training. And probably one of the coolest features which sets it apart from some of the other watches out there is they actually allow developers to create their own apps for the watch

 Another feature I like in this watch is it actually has a built in magnetic compass. Now I've already calibrated here just to show you what happens. Once you have it set up you can see I can turn the watch and wherever the watch is actually pointing that's the bearing that it's reading off. So as you see 200 degrees is that way and the little arrow indicator on the bottom that's where north is

 Let's take a closer look at the screen and some of the features. So this is the main watch screen interface. You've got the time and the date shown quite easily. You can notice there are five buttons around the outside

Great sports watch.

 And they definitely did not slouch in any of the craftsmanship or the functionality of this watch. It's very well made, water resistant to 100 meters. And for every outdoor exercise, you know you've got the capabilities for this watch to help you out in case you get into trouble, or if you just want to record your activity. You're out there cycling, mountain biking, hiking, and you want to do your thing and record it, and then share it with your friends on social media, no problem, this watch will do it

 Okay, you also have the view button right here at the bottom left hand corner. When you push and hold that, it'll invert the display. So, you know, if you get tired of looking at the regular display, you can flip it around, which is kind of a cool little feature. And you just hold it again and it goes back

 And then it just keeps cycling through and you can go through. Now if you hit start stop again, you can go and scroll up to navigation. And then, so if you select say logbook, this is a cool feature right here. So say you select logbook and then select one of the treks that you've been on
