Superdrug Simply Pure Hydrating Serum

I really like Superdrug’s Simply Pure Hydrating Serum as a light moisturiser. It’s my AM face moisturiser and I’ve been using it on my hands recently too. It is nourishing but sinks in quickly. Then overnight I tend to apply something richer right before I go to sleep.

I have tried these four and they all work great for me (same as your skin type). Some other products you can look into are Superdrug Simply Pure Hydrating Night Serum, Acrofy Lotion and Oryza Lotion.

Not sure if I went in too fast or if my skin just doesn’t like it! I used a few drops over my whole face. The rest of my routine consists of Superdrug Simply Pure Hydrating Serum and Nivea Shine Control SPF 50 (AM), and Superdrug Naturally Radiant Foaming Cleanser, Me+ Hyaluronic Booster, TO Rose Hip Seed Oil and Physiogel Hypoallergenique moisturiser (PM). I may have skipped SPF one day so I wonder if that compounded the issue, I know AA increases skin’s sun sensitivity.

AM - Splash with water, Superdrug simply pure serum, avene Extrême Emulsion, Isntree HA spf. PM- simple hydrating cleansing oil, simple water boost gel cleanser (sometimes skip this), serum and moisturiser as above. Every other night alternate between tretinoin 0.5% *or* LRP Cicaplast followed by Aquaphor.

Eucerin and Cetaphil offer similar products. You'll need to assess each against your skin needs and budget. My skin (UK) has responded well to the Superdrug Simply Pure PM serum with ceramides to strengthen the skin barrier, the Ordinary Peptide buffet, and Superdrug Vitamin E night cream and is less red. These are not targeted at redness but have made a difference.

AM - Splash face with water (occasionally use 5% BP, leave on for 10 mins and rinse off), Superdrug Simple Pure Hydrating Serum on damp skin, Eucerin Urea Repair or Curel Rich Cream, Isntree HA Watery Sun Gel spf50. PM - Simple cleansing oil, Simple micellar water boost gel cleanser, serum and moisturiser as above, tret (2-3 x weekly), LRP Cicaplast B5 Bäume.

I then use Superdrugs Simply Pure Hydrating Night Serum, and 2-3 times a week I will follow that with The Ordinarys Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%, then the toner mist, and then the Clarins moisturiser. How long you have been using your current routine, or product in question: I incorporated the azeliac acid, mist, and new moisturiser several months ago (I would say around feb/march), and I've found its worked well for me.
