Great Cooking Results; Flawed Finishes

 I bought this one to make smaller portions and because it is aesthetically pleasing. I took off a couple of stars because there are a lot white paint speckles on the inside and a couple of yellow/rust-colored stains on the bottom. Because it is white, I think these 'imperfections' were more pronounced. I am happy with the quality (other than cosmetic) of this and I foresee myself using this often as well

Love this staub pot but be careful if you order it refurbished or used - mine was missing the screw to attach the knob to the lid. Still worth it for the discounted price but not useable until I get that part elsewhere.

Lovely but missing a part.

I gave it 4 stars because it cooks rice without sticking but it rusts at the handle really fast. Otherwise, it's a good pot.

  To be honest it did take me a couple pots of rice to get things correct. My stove has 4 burners..

 I have looked at many Japanese ceramic rice pots that looked appealing, but I have cats and figure one of them will knock the ceramic pot off the shelf and that would be it. I took much time to review my options and ran into the Staub Petite French Oven with all the swash shaped pieces on the inner lid that causes the moisture to rain down on the rice as it is cooking.  To be honest it did take me a couple pots of rice to get things correct. My stove has 4 burners
