Great Design
Very pleased with the Spyderco Smock, light weight design, but very sturdy, looking forward to purchasing additional Spyderco Smock's to tryout new scales I've been purchasing from the designer Kevin Smock.

What was a “popular” knife you bought that you just hated?
Im gonna get hate for this but the Spyderco Smock. Simply didn’t like it. It’s overhyped.

Blessed Today to carry my Design!!!!
Bulk in the back so you actively use all your fingers for grip, no finger cuts so you can grip however you like, and it's just clean. Ooh, and judging by the third picture - can it be front flipped? I also like that recessed flipper tab like the way the Spyderco Smock does it.

Spyderco Smock Top Flipper Overview
Pretty slim, you can also you compress the compression, lock and kind of flip it out with some wrist action, and same goes for the closing. As you can see again, this is Tyler with gpknives and the new Spyderco smock top flipper.

M/18 EDC Rotation :))
Spyderco Para 3 Maxamet: Recently traded my Benchmade Tengu for this knife and must say it was worth the trade, good little knife with some snazzy gray scales. Custom Spyderco Smock: By far my favorite knife in my collection.

If you could buy only one knife under $200 what would it be?
I've only handled the Smock, but if you like the design it's very fun and well made. Spyderco Spydiechef is another winner, although slightly over your budget.

Instant Classic
The Smock is without a doubt one of the best knives Spyderco has ever put out. It’s silky smooth opening and closing on bearings in the pivot. The button should be added to every compression lock knife in their lineup if you ask me. My wife even liked it so much I had to buy a second one for her. Ca...

Need Spyderco advice
The Smock is incredible, 100% would be my personal choice. The action is incredible and super fidget friendly.
Would also suggest the Canis over the Yojimbo if you do decide to go that route. Great knives but for an EDC, would go Smock
