If you wanted to go a little higher price range, I would suggest a Spyderco Lightweight. My particular recommendations would be the para 3 and Manix 2.

I’d throw the Sage 5 lightweight in the ring. Imo the perfect EDC, i like mine more than my para3. Currently have micarta scales on mine but i will say that the secondary scale market isn’t as robust for it as the para3/pm2/bugout/griptilian scene

They have 14c on lock and it’s probably the best value titanium framelock on the market. Opinels are great for cheap “put em in your glove/tool/tackle box” knives…they’re also perfect for customization and practicing your freehand sharpening. I like the #6, 7 and 8, personally. My personal favorites, regardless of price: Spyderco Shaman Cruwear/Z-wear, Spyderco Sage 5 lightweight, Spyderco Manix 2 G10, Finch 1929, literally anything Shirogorov makes, K390 Endela or Endura (best cardboard destroyers out there, IMO).

Excellent performance and ergonomics. The G10/Carbon Fiber combo is just "OK" looking. Not amazing, but not bad by any means. I also wasn't a fan of the finish on the blade... probably because it was unfinished, had the machine lines on it and that's it. I would have liked to see them at least smoot...
