So there you go guys, that is the spyderco amalgam.

People may argue with me, but the Spyderco Knives are the bombest knifes you can buy on that scale! I know there are custom nights out there that you can have made, but for a production run knife, Spyderco has to feel and the quality as far as I'm concerned, and are the best at that price point! I have several myself, I have to say the paramilitary 2 is my favorite! Thanks for sharing.

Spyderco Amalgam, the one I got was pretty awful. Poor ergonomics due to the wide but thin handle, gritty bearings, worst of all was the weak detent.

Only Spyderco I've seen with robust tip on blade. Flipper tab + compression lock? Bad idea! Would have been 100% better with liner lock.
