Sony X90K

I thought the review of the x90k was off. Having just purchased due to a recent sale, I found that I was much more impressed by the image and features than ratings.com reviews (and users in the sub) made it seem I would. I didn't realize how much of a non issue the blooming was until actually watching stuff. Also, I've always preferred a brighter picture, even in darker environments, so the brightness was a huge plus for me.

Whoever designed that the TV stand should be extremely difficult needs to go. Did they not think that buyers would install the stand first then decide to wall mount their TV? There is no clear instructions on how to do it and I keep looking for that insertion slot for the screw driver based on the m...

From RTings.com. The Sony X90K is the successor to the Sony X90J, and it's not worth the upgrade if you already have the X90J or if you're deciding between the two TVs.

Sound is cheep quality. Picture is good to excellent. Does not cross over with the same picture between devices.

Definitely go with the x90k better all around tv. Sure it's an extra $500 but if you want the best in upscaling dvd quality content and good hdr and DV then just get the K. You'll thank me later!

I have never seen a better picture on any TV, only on Bravia. I been wanting one of these since I saw my dad's. I have a sound bar, so I can't really rate the sound. I do have 2 minor issues. However as they have been on sale a while, it is harder to find on sale now/sold out or the few retailers with a few on stock have moved it back up to msrp. The 75 inch variant is hard to find on sale now. The newest model of the above version X90K (CK at Costco) is slightly more, $1199 for the 65. But the 75 inch is around $1699.

Just got this, and I only have an antenna attached so I can't judge the picture yet, but I'm praying there's another remote I can use with it. No #'s on remote so you have to SCROLL, AND SCROLL! Love that I can ask for a movie with out having to search. Only thing is that voice only doesn’t always work without remote.
