Sony BRAVIA XR A90K

I love it. I love it. I love it.

To do who don't know, you will have to calibrate your C2 since the colors seem really unbalanced and washed out out of the box and after comparing it to the A90K, I can't tell the difference. I only bought the A90K for comparison. Although there were some scenes on Netflix that looked good on A90K, but you can barely tell unless you pause the movie and look at the details. But aside from that, colors, angles, etc..the difference is minimal.

On the plus side, the size (42") takes up the same space as my older KDL-40HX800 3D TV, which the XR-42A90K is replacing. This is my first 4K TV. I'm using Sony for Movie/TV watching apps, PC Gaming, Switch, rarely some xbox one x. I've been playing Spiderman Remastered, God of War, Forza 5, etc. on PC and all look amazing on the OLED. The Sony has VRR mode which unlocks G-Sync for PC. I've had no issues using the Sony A90K for 4K 120hz HDR G-Sync Gaming with my 3080TI.

you still get a comparable experience because those improvements carry over to games, and you will gain improvements in games with the Sony, the LG simply just can't deliver. To me at 1499.99 there's no question, get the A90K.

I ended up getting the 42 once Sony A90K last week and so far this TV has been a blast. The all time best movie to watch on an OLED is Spider-Man into the Spiderverse. All round for media consumption this TV is beyond amazing. Gaming is also pretty good but I did run into one issue and that seems to be that anytime I start playing a game, the HDMI input literally dies for a second and then comes back and it keeps doing that.

OLED is a the Best Picture but way too dim especially on a Sony 48 inch screen. Maybe less impactful on a 75 inch screen. I would recommend going with the Sony A95K OLED. Better technology and brighter screen. Also go with LG OLED C2.. much brighter and a much more satisfying experience

Way better then the new Samsung. I have gn90b as well and Sony is miles better. I have had this TV for over a week and it blows away all others away.
