Top: [Sofirn in 4000k. I got the bettery-less one which was $20. This headlamp is super throwy, so I wouldn't love running it solo but is fantastic as a backup/spot lamp.

Great choices! I would also recommend a headlamp. They are super useful for power outages. The Sofirn SP40 is a great budget option.

Edit: Sofirn also sells diffusers for the SP36 to turn it into a very effective lantern.

Was really good at first

I've had this flashlight since late August 2020, and I've been using it quite a bit. I use it for biking, hiking, walks around town. I used it when fixing my car at night. Its been to a festival. The Sofirn SP40 is great and is only slightly more expensive than an S2+ if you buy it from Sofirn's website. ~~It also works with two CR123A's according to the Amazon listing.~~ Apparently Sofirn's website says otherwise so don't do that, just to be safe.
