If you have a partner it will be manageable since you can split the weight. I would look at the Marmot Tungsten UL 4p (5lbs), Sierra Designs Meteor 4p (6lbs) or the Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL 4p (5lbs) for backpacking with a 4p tent if it fits the budget. Also July 4 sales are coming up soon.

The Sierra Designs is a better tent of the two. These models let you place the rainfly half way over the tent body for their "stargazer mode" so you don't have to fully remove it. I have this on my Meteor 4 and Meteor Lite 2p and it is an awesome feature for summer camping.

It's 4 lbs 8 oz, over a pound less than the limelight. I have the meteor 4. Great tent. Compares well to my Big Agnes and Slingfin tents, esp for the money.

Not a bad tent, but it has numerous problems compared to a better bigger name brand like Marmot, Big Agnes etc. The size of the packed bag was literally 4x the size of my Sierra Designs Meteor 4p and it weighed 3x the amount. Setting up a modern tent is not a big deal and doesn't take that long. My Marmot Fortress and Sierra Designs Meteor tents (which are "crawl in" tents) takes all of 3 minutes.
