Depending on your voice (and budget), the Shure SM7 is a good option, but it costs a bit more, and may require an interface with a lot of gain headroom, as it needs a fair bit of amplification to sound at its best. The focusrite scarlett 2i2 is the world’s best selling interface for a reason. The preamps are pretty good, and you get lots of free plugins bundled with it. On a side note, don’t get a zoom recorder for this.

The SM7 has a very specific sound. If that’s the sound you want, great, but it’s nothing at all like the AT. I wouldn’t consider it an upgrade as much as analogous to switching from a paintbrush to a roller. Both are useful, but they don’t do the same thing.
