A Samsung QLED next to an LG OLED in a fully lit Best Buy is night and day. I even brought my girlfriend to look at TVs with me and pitched the Samsung to her (trying not to color her choice with my preference for the LG), because it was cheaper.

Samsung QN85A is also tempting at $1,440 with edu discount but I can see the standard recommendation to avoid this like the plague. Samsung Q90A is currently $1760 with edu discount and tempting only because it feels like a decent deal in this global chip shortage price hike climate but with tax it feels like too much of a stretch.

The Samsung is a huge pain all the time. Every input change causes it to try to auto detect what is connected.

I had the 85 inch Samsung qn85a and I returned it after a month due to a lot of dse. the dse was so bad I had a continuous dse blotch on the right center of the screen.

Color, clarity are good. MAJOR issue with voice delay. Paid extra to get a sound bar that helped, did not fix. Finally got it synced when I turned off Dolby sound. You need to fix this.
