Samsung Q90

Yeah, no....not buying a Samsung TV. In case you forgot or don't know, look up the reviews of the 2019 QLED models compared with the 2020 models. Samsung intentionally gimped the 2020 4K models so that users would consider going to the more expensive 8K option. Q90R to Q90T is basically a downgrade.

There is no risk of burn in with the Q90 but it is a worse tv, plain and simple. The OLED is the best gaming TV ever made and the Q90 can’t hold a candle to it picture quality wise.

The picture is gorgeous! The smart features via the Tizen system are so-so, and Tizen is the redheaded stepchild of TV operating systems. I just can't recommend them for everyone, if one is constantly worried about burn in, you won't enjoy it to it's potential and ends up being a waste. I don't know what your financial situation is but if you're someone who has to save up, or sees this as a big purchase that you want as an investment, this is thr wrong way to go. There's some world class TV's out there that aren't OLED, Q80 or Q90, both incredible screens with more longevity.

Fwiw I have the Q90 and the LG B7 both 65”. The Q90 is in my bright room. The LG is definitely better in almost every way but I have to say the motion is far worse and you see artifacts around moving objects even in slow moving scenes. I find sports look better on the Q90, at least in my bright room.

We have the Samsung Q90T and the LG C9+C1. The Q90T was the worst TV purchase in my life (Samsung Q9FN got second place). It simply looks worse in every aspect, especially in gaming compared to OLED.
