The Q70r was good and was great for gaming, but the colors just seemed unnatural to me and overall for the price it just seemed to be underwhelming. The B9 blows it out of the water in every way, from gaming to movies to TV it’s just next level. If you have the budget and you’re after the best experience for movies/gaming/tv then I say go for it and I suspect you’ll notice an immediate difference.

I am using Q70R and I found it pretty good when paired with supported surround speakers. When I bought it last year I received \~100 Euros payback from Samsung so it costed \~420 Euros. Don't expect mind blowing Atmos performance but surround performance is pretty good and subwoofer doesn't disappoint for this price range. Once in a while I have HDMI handshake issues with Xbox Series X connected directly to Soundbar but switching sources few times is enough to troubleshoot.

I'm currently using dual 22 dell and 23 dell, nothing special, low end monitor. I plays game on my PS5 with Samsung Q70R (great HDR and black), so I already have certain standard for my PS5 gaming. Recently wife took over the TV a lot, so I'm thinking to upgrade my monitor so I can work and game with it. The new monitor will be use 8-10 hours for work, 1-2 hours for PS5 gaming.

I ended up putting the Samsung hw-q70r in the bedroom after many failed attempts with purchasing the q80r. Even though the Samsung has upfiring rears, you can adjust the height channels in Sonos Arc, which makes it even more noticeable. And you can upgrade to surrounds and sub as you go.
