I should've just sold the iPad and bought the S5e. iPads are good for a lot of things - like the amazing standby battery life, but if you actually use the device it's fairly comparable. UI is really fluent, even though I cannot properly multitask on it (two apps side by side on a 10 inch display this close to your face is not multi tasking) With Dex I can do multiple apps. I tried a friend's Tab S6 for a few days to test the water and it was amazing how much I could do.

UPDATE #2: I was aware that the early 2019 models had a Wi-Fi antenna glitch where as in certain up/down or left/right positions while handling/holding the tablet would cause the Wi-Fi to drop out or lose effect, i thought they would have fixed it wilh a firmware update or patch but the problem stil...

Sounds like you want a Samsung tablet, the Samsung S5e is about 350 euro and it is perfect for media consumption. Though the SoC is outdated it matters little for if you just want to watch stuff and browse the web a bit. OLED screen, (really good) speakers with Dolby Atmos, FHD+, has DeX that can be used without dock.

Quad speakers (! ), very loud and sound quality is actually decent. Of course not as good as on the Tab S7 or other expensive tablets, but for the price they absolutely rock. * Battery life seems to be very good.
