I was really impressed by this particular ski. Yeah.

Skiing in some crud or stiff hard pebble snow wasn't as enjoyable, but honestly I don't think any ski really is. I wish I had got to test it in the powder, but I imagine the float would be solid, if someone else can give first hand experience that would be awesome. Overall, I clicked immediately with these skis. I skied it the most as well that day because of how natural everything felt and I didn't really get tired on them.

I recommend the 20/21 or 21/22 Rossignol Escaper from personal experience. They are dirt cheap at least here in Europe because discontinued, old model.

I am the latter type and bought the Rossignol Escaper 20/21 with some Marker Griffons on it before this season and can recommend it for that purpose! Its W94, L178, R19 but very nimble because there is no metal in the ski just some fiberglass matrix around the core that is thicker/denser underfoot to provide carving stability.

Frankly, I don’t prefer Rossi skis in bumps at all, they’re lower-cambered and have a stiffer tail release, and their turning radiuses hover around the 18-20 meter mark — not the longest on the market, but they’re still not skis designed for whipping though short, tight mogul turns unless you really push them to do that. The Escaper is the more maneuverable option between the two you listed, but I would still encourage you to demo them before jumping into buying for conditions you haven’t skied yet.
