Private Internet Access

There is a serious problem with PIA's transparency and their ability to keep promises. I wish It weren't the case as I've been a long time user.

I've been to the support pages for Private Internet Access and have already read that they don't support Windows Insider builds. However, at some point they are going to have to acknowledge the issues with the client not working correctly on these builds since they will eventually be released to the public. Windows 11 is going to drop within months, so if they can't get their act together they're going to lose a lot of customers. I've already cancelled myself.

Even if you use WireGuard, this will affect you. The CA certificates in all servers for PIA are invalid. Let me repeat myself so you can understand the seriousness of this issue. All servers for Private Internet Access have a invalid CA certificate.

4. Private Internet Access: iPhone app is lagging, if you switch between servers, the app just stops responding, same with the Firestick app.

yeah its bullshit i got mine from cox too and they threatened to susspend my service and made me watch a video about piracy and how much it “harms” big compaines like Warner brothers and sony. the same day i got private internet access and i have been downloading everything i wanted. it was like 70$ for 2 years.

the lack of options and customization is disappointing. for a $100 a year i would think ATLEAST there would be wireguard support. i get 266mbps download with express vpn and 550mbps with nordvpn and similar with private internet access. what makes express vpn 4 times the price of their competitors?.

Private Internet Access here. NordVPN isn't too bad either when it comes to speeds. I've used both here for years, and no, they aren't free.

Nice to know I shouldn't expect much. I never cancelled my Private Internet Access payment, so I'm using that as of today.

So I just switched from private Internet access, due to them having a legalese beating around the bush no logging policy and no audit since being purchased by its new owner. I have no complaints towards any of the servers or reliability of them since the switch, however I do have to say in comparison that the UI is complete and utter garbage in comparison. The application lacks usage statistics/current speeds for easy access, which is my biggest complaint, however it does also lack the ability to Shadowsocks and just isn’t as user-friendly as private Internet access. But at the end of the day I would rather go with the company who I don’t feel will stab me in the back or hasn’t been delivered the fisa warrant.

I settled down on Private Internet Access. Their three year deal right now is 79$. They offer port forwarding too which is important for me. Check it out!
