You might also want to look at a Coros Vertix 2 and or the Polar Grit x. 745 and 945 have basically the same features - only the FR745 doesn't have golf or maps, so is also more limited on the outdoor/recreation features. In regards to the new sensor - its an improvement but it isn't massive, and you would only really notice the improvement if doing high intensity activities like HIIT i.e.

Going to end up ditching this AW Series 4 because the battery life sucks / I want to get into triathlons. Going to go with a Garmin 945 or Polar Grit X. Once I switch I’m going to use their platform and let it write data to NRC, Apple Health and maybe Strava. Still with their platforms want to be able to have a training plan on my wrist / on my phone that I can have at my fingertips that’s interactive.
