any recommended trackballs for gaming?

I'm currently using a Perixx 517, which is cheap and functional but requires a little extra work to get going. The Logitech M570 works great, but I was mostly playing ME3 multiplayer with it. I suspect sometimes that the trackball limits my performance, but then I have an amazing game. I tend to have trouble with lateral tracking at very close range, but I don't know that a regular mouse would actually improve that.

Potential New Trackballs/Buying Advice 2021

Currently using the Perixx Perimice-517. I've been with it for a few years, and having learned that customization and other things are pretty common in the community, I am more satisfied. So far, it seems to be quite durable and I like the somewhat larger size. 2+ years of use without the mouse buttons failing is a nice improvement over Logitech.
