Pelikan Classic M205

Least: My Pelikan m205 blue marble is really great. Smaller than I was expecting but a really fun little pen. Makes me want a more expensive Pelikan.

* Pelikan m205 demonstrator with steel italic nib: The nib is sooo smooth and the pen feels so nice in the hand. so happy with this last-minute purchase. * Waterman 52 1/2V: fairly sure this cap shouldn't go with this body and there was some superficial damage to the barrel near the lever but the nib is such a delight that I decided to go for it anyways. <3.

Product is original and delivered very fast. This were the 2 stars I gave. Now, it comes without the original Pelikan box, the nib is not in great shape, skips very often (I will fix it myself but if you are buying this as your first fountain pen I would advise you to not buy from here, the price is...

However, the click sound is pretty loud and I am not sure if I would use it in a real-life meeting. In order to get the most of out the ink cartridge, I prefer using a syringe rather than a converter with the decimo. The M205 has a nice stiff nib, however, sometimes the nibs (esp. EF... -.-) are not perfectly smooth out of the box.

The pen they sent me doesn't come with a box as advertised. I got a nib on this pen that is worst than my Kaweco Perkeo at a fraction of the price. The nib hard starts on every sentence and is unbearable.

Knowing what I know now I would've **SKIPPED**:. * The starter pen segment entirely (TWSBI Eco, Pilot Metropolitan, all the Chinese brands, etc.). There is nothing wrong with them and I'm glad I got them and learned about what I like, but if I had all of my current knowledge then all of those pens would be obsolete for me. * The Pelikan m205 Petrol.

Personally I have no dislikes about this product. I can understand why some may find this pen a bit light, but it is not an issue for me.This pen is a favorite in my collection and outperforms a lot of more expensive pens.

I would say no to the Van Gogh, only because it really doesn't feel that amazing in hand. It is my most expensive pen to date and I much prefer my Pelikan m205 over it, which I got for a little over half the price. I would say if you want a Visconti, either go big or go home because the lower end models just aren't worth their price tag. Gold nib pens really depend on your preference.

A smaller pen, but posts well to make up for it. Nib does write wet and a bit more broad than indicated. Writing experience is absolutely sublime and the blye marble body stunning. Very refined feel.
