 Nvidia initially launched three GPUs in the RTX 40 series event.

 The RTX 4090, RTX 4080 16GB and RTX 4080 12GB.

 While the first two were quite awesome in terms of specs and performance, RTX 4080 12GB

 however faced plenty of criticism from the gaming community.

 The card was quite weak in terms of specs and the price point for it made no sense at

 The situation surrounding the card got so bad that Nvidia had to un-launch it.

 And now it seems like Nvidia is relaunching the card under a completely new name.

 The news comes from renowned Twitter leaker Kupite7Kimi who first claimed that the original

 RTX 4080 12GB which was un-launched earlier will now become the RTX 4070 Ti instead.

 To add more to it, another Twitter leaker going by the name of MegasizeGPU has shared

 the package design and product name as well as the probable arrival date of January 5th,

 But in other news, WCCF Tech tells us that there will be a total of three dates following

 According to them, the card will be unveiled on January 3rd and reviewed on the 4th followed

 This also marks the day of the CES 2023 event which we are looking forward to.

 So if the RTX 4070 Ti is just a rebranding of the RTX 4080 12GB, the specs for this card

 The card is likely to include 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM coupled with 7680 CUDA cores.

 As for the price I don't think that Nvidia can afford to raise it by a lot compared to the previous generation taking into consideration the current state of the market. Right now there is very little demand from crypto miners who made up a huge chunk of Nvidia's sales over the previous year and many gamers are either waiting for the new RTX 4000 series cards or for the RTX 3000 prices to drop further. I expect to see RTX 4070 in the US stores at $500 to $600 on average when the prices normalize after the first few stock resupplies. This process usually takes 4 to 6 weeks after the product launch

In conclusion I would like to say that I am pretty happy with this RTX 4070 configuration. 12GB of memory is more reasonable than previously rumored 10GB. And it will be huge if 4070 can match the performance of RTX 3090 Ti in games
