 So That's what we'll do to firing up our gaming tests Our theory is basically proven the RTX 2070 super is quite close to the RTX 2080 here and the RTX 2060 super is even Closer to the RTX 2070 than we might have thought this carries over when we turn on our TX where the RTX 2060 Super definitely punches above its weight class as a 60 series part Now we tested these games at 1440p, but a big part of Nvidia's appeal with the RTX 2060 Super is its claimed ability to do 60 FPS ray tracing at 1080p So we have to validate that as well. And yep, looks like that's a confirmed 60 FPS nice Now productivity is where these cards don't get quite so big of a boost consistently coming in between their Predecessors and the next tier up the RTX 2070 super manages to get in some good performance numbers compared to the 2080 and shorter tests like blenders BMW and V ray But that's primarily down to the higher stock boost clock on longer tests like redshift and spec view perf the RTX 2080 decisively pulls ahead while the RTX 2060 super for its part falls a lot shorter of the RTX 2070s performance level than I would have thought going into this When it comes to thermals in spite of the meme potential it doesn't really look like It's that hot even under a power virus load Neither card approached the 80-degree threshold and in a gaming scenario things didn't get any worse power consumption was similarly within Levels we'd expect and the GPUs are basically pulling as much power as their stated TDPs where things get interesting is When we look at the boost clocks Yes under a power virus load, they're barely maintaining a boost over base clock but in a game scenario, they were rock solid well above their advertised boost clocks and All in all that's a pretty nice combo of performance power draw and thermals for a stock card. So really what is Nvidia accomplished here? Well, they managed to get out ahead of V's Navi based Radeon 5700 series Yes, but the question we really need to ask ourselves now is who do we thank for that? Do we thank TSMC for making mass production of Turing chips more economically viable? Do we thank Nvidia for taking a hit on GPU pricing and better binning or do we thank AMD for giving Nvidia the nudge?  Super but just because they call it that doesn't mean it's true even so maybe the branding isn't worth getting caught up on if the cards

 You might not have a choice as Nvidia is discontinuing the RTX 2070 and RTX 2080 and directly replacing them with the new cards

 So while the RTX 2070 might represent a good value when they're on clearance

 The super version is basically always a good idea even over the more powerful RTX 2080

 if you can find one for cheaper on final sale go for it and the same is true of the

 RTX 2060 super where it completely obsoletes the RTX 2060 which Nvidia is keeping for some reason

 Excuse me for giggles if we compare the two new super cards directly once again the RTX 2060 super

 Steals the show, although this assumes you're okay with the value of 1080p gameplay. So really what is Nvidia accomplished here?

 Well, they managed to get out ahead of V's Navi based Radeon 5700 series

 Yes, but the question we really need to ask ourselves now is who do we thank for that?

Works Well at a good price

 We'Ve mentioned it several times these past few weeks, so I won't waste any time in this video performance bumps for the 2070 super over the 2070. Don'T look all that appealing for some of our synthetic loads. Same can be said for the 2080 super over the 2080, regardless of the resolution, but venture into popular games and the cards begin to flex their muscles. I was building a mid to high-end system for 1440p life for a gaming. The 2070 and 5700 XT would be the two cards in my sights particularly AIB, but he's on their backs T's for obvious reasons

 The three cards I'd like you to focus on these charts for the 2070 2070 super and 2080 Super, since we expect the original 2080 to be phased out in time and rightfully so. The 2080 Super retails for around the same price. The two 2070 variants for custom gigabyte boards that were sent to us for testing a few weeks ago and remain cool even under load.  This is this Hardware review season and I'm loving it. We'Ve got CPUs, we got more GPUs to talk about. We'Ve got I'm gon na give it away. I'Ve got some things planned that I'm not even sure how I'm gon na do it, I'm probably gon na suck at it, which is what's gon na make it entertaining

 I think that's because it had to get away from the 16 60 TI performance, because member when the 16 60 TI launched, we said it was too close to a 2060 to not justify just buying a 2060 and at least having the arti cores in the tensor Course so it's a crazy discussion, but yeah the 2070 is definitely the one that I think shows well at least the better performance per dollar, because it's the same price with the performance levels of nearly a 20-18 on Ti. So anyway, we can't complete this. This review. Technically, you can see how they stack up versus the current models that are available here, because we, like, I said, are just days away from another product launch with more graphics cards and we still don't have the 2080 Super in our hand

 So this is sort of an incomplete video. This is where you guys chime in I'm curious in the way the blob thinks and I'm referring to this as a blob, because individual opinions are all considered outliers and think of it as a big giant, Venn diagram, with a million different circles and where they all Overlap, that's kind of where we want to focus on our reviews in the way that we kind of handle is moving forward.  You believe that, okay, whatever when it comes to our charts, there's a couple things you need to know here we compared it to the Radeon 64 and the Radeon 7. For a couple of reasons, one the vega 56 fell off the bottom of the chart. It didn't even it didn't even come close to matching the 2060 super and it barely met the 2060. The only reason 2060 is even on the charts, because we need to see how much of an improvement you're getting with the super model

If you can manage to scoop one of these up, do it. The pricing was fair (especially the way the market is currently) when I purchased this early February. I did notice Lenovo increased their pricing recently, which is disappointing, but it's still better than most of the market. Best of luck out there, stay safe and be well

 the new cards are based on the new tearing architecture and you do get a ray tracing capability on the card. This is an 8 gigabyte card, so you're not getting the 11 or 12 yuka bytes that you usually get with flagship cards. On most games running at 4k, we found that it was easily able to achieve 60fps, but running at a 1080 or full HD we were able to get upwards of 100 and 60 FPS on mostly all games that we tested out with this card. This card not only replaces the 2070, but also adds about 20 to 30% additional capability or performance right off the bat

 We ran Geekbench and ran the Gpo test, receiving a score of 2 lakh 67,000 or about 267,000 on the Open CL score, which is a really respectable score. While we are rating for cards from AMD to arrive, the Nvidia 2070 Super is it really promising card and an impressive price, delivering quite a lot of performance without adding too much on the price value. It replaces the 2070 and improves on the architecture and the capability of the cards, and that is what makes this kind of special. If you're in the market for a card that will support mostly all games, giving you interesting and impressive frame rates without shelling out most of what you would need to for a flagship GPU The 2070 Super will definitely be something that you could pick for more detailed written review

Now, we are plugging this in onto our beast machine so we have a core I 9, 9, 9, 8, 0 X each chipset along with an X 2, 9, 9 designate motherboard from gigabyte and we also have 128 gigabyte of RAM
