In our testing, we found the Owl to have incredibly quick response time.

My back pain seemed to improve on this, but I found the bed way too squishy, not very supportive, and uncomfortable to sleep in so I returned it. Then I tried a latex hybrid, thinking it may provide a more traditional mattress feel but with the pressure relief of latex. That turned out to be even more uncomfortable and didn't provide any pain relief, just felt like a really soft and unsupportive spring mattress.

We loved it for about the first 6 years. After that, it developed massive troughs in it. I swear that we might as well be sleeping in separate beds. I only realized how truly bad it was when I pulled the thick cover off to toss it in the wash and saw how deep the craters truly were.

Thoughts on Luma Sleep Latex Slumber System?

I'm 175 lbs and a side sleeper and bought it with a 3" plush Talalay topper and it's amazing. I would highly recommend calling them and getting their recommendations for what will work for your weight and sleep style. They are super friendly and not pushy at all. I probably wouldn't have ordered what I did without talking to them first.

PSA - Undocumented Nest ASH Change

I tend to overheat and because the NHL has polyfoam in the quilting and above the coils, I sink in too much. I then replaced the insert with soft Dunlop and removed the quilting. I have slept much better but I know I can still sink down because of the polyfoam above the coils and probably because of the coils (thank you kindly for documenting this).
