Maxxis Minion SS is a great tire. Not the greatest braking traction but amazing rolling speed and corner grip. A Maxxis dissector 2.4 front and a Minion SS 2.3 rear is also a great combo.

I received the 29x2.4 (WT) or Wide Trail version of this tire. I understood from the description that the tire was not a WT tire. REI needs to change the description to indicate that this a WT tire. There non-WT version is what I wanted.
