Look Pivot 15 GW

I've been on this binding for the past five years now and basically, I like it more than the others because it's A, super pleasing aesthetically, cool...

Assuming you don’t want a touring binding;

I’d get the Look Pivot. I will never buy another binding.

Only half of the bindings arrived (the heels, not the toes), box was damaged and a screw is missing. We are very disappointed as we ordered these for a ski trip next week. Need a complete set.

It’s been narrowed down to the Look Pivot 15 GW, Marker Griffon 13 ID, and the Marker Jester 16 ID (18 Pro is the same price as 16). I’m finding the Griffons are ~ $100 cheaper, Pivots are highly regarded as indestructible, and Jesters are beefier Griffons. I’ll likely have these skis for a long time and will be skiing around 80 days this winter so I need my binding to hold up well.

Pivot bindings are the best all mountain bindings if they work for you. Been skiing them for a decade and won't change now...

I have a pair of Blizzard Rustler 10s with the Look Pivot 15 CAST system. Love the setup but it's a tad heavy -- I've been looking at the Blaze 106 as well as an alternative. I'd just swap the CAST bindings onto the Blaze and put a regular Look pivot on the Blizzards. But anyways - if you're looking at some slightly heavier skis that would work for 70/30, I'd add the Blizzard Rustler 10 to the list.

The Look Pivots are absolutely amazing. I’ve been using them exclusively for over 25 years. If you are an aggressive skier, and want the best performance from your binding, while still maintaining a high level of safety, this is the best choice.

Simply put, these are the best bindings money can buy. Hold you when you want them to, release when you need them to. Plus they’re all metal so they really dampen out crud and chatter.
