If you're fine with using a decent mouse that will inevitably break, go for it.
The mouse itself is ergonomic and good to hold. It's light and maneuverable and tracks well with just the right amount of liftoff. However, I will no longer buy Logitech mice due to a common recurring problem that has yet to be fixed or even addressed on their part. Logitech mice are infamous for ha...

Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury
The Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury is a great wired gaming mouse designed for FPS games. It's incredibly well-built, with an ergonomic shape that's better suited for a right-handed palm or claw grip. It has a great number of programmable buttons, including a dedicated sniper button on the side

Hardware Insight: Testing wired vs wireless click latency using LDAT
While this is not the case on the G305, it is the case on the Logitech G402 or Razer Viper 8K. (3) Lastly, it's also important to keep in mind that wireless delay for click events and sensor data isn't necessarily identical. As such, a mouse that scores almost the same in the click latency test when comparing wired and wireless may have significantly higher sensor motion delay in wireless mode.
Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury Gaming Mouse - Inhumanly Fast
On the other hand, you have the G 402, with the different, but still beautiful, sensor, which is armed and armed with a powerful but possibly not needed for everyone at least fusion engine, while the G 402 is laundry list of features is considerably shorter than the g502. It still feels great in hand. I mean you still have the fundamental organ on that quality of a Logitech mouse which, to many people, myself included, feels great in your hand and you've got one other thing

Great FPS gaming mouse
The G402 is perfect for CS:GO and Overwatch. I went from the MX518 to the G5 and now to the G402. I was trying to find something lightweight and first got the wireless G602, but it was still a little heavy with even 1 Lithium AA battery. So I ended up using the G602 for my work computer and got the ...

A good example of this is Mongraal, who uses a g402 (heavier than the basilisk ultimate). Personally, having played many matches of FPS (Fortnite and Call of Duty) and RPG (RDR2) games and switching between these two mice, I have to say, the viper gave me better flicks (more consistent is probably a better way to describe it as the basilisk also gave me amazing flicks, just less often.

Finalmouse Starlight-12 Medium Review (in comments)
In regards to the other aspects of the mouse, I will quickly say that the wireless implementation is great (I haven't had the infamous LOD issues noted by many and have no measurable latency. I play on an Artisan Hayate Otsu Mid), I got lucky with the QC of my left and right click and don't have any issues there, and the metal shell of the mouse is great and not too slippery or too cold or anything like that.
