Logitech Ergo K860 Review - My First Ergonomic Keyboard!

It doesn't come with LED backlighting, I think that's my biggest drawback or my biggest problem with this keyboard, but for touch typists.

So with this in mind I wanted to make my situation even better by using a more ergonomic keyboard. So just for testing, I picked up the Logitech Ergo K860. Its not ideal, stickers on the caps, scissor switches, non detachable wrist rest , not tenkeyless etc. But I do find the shape of it very nice and relaxed.

Unfortunately, you can't remove the wrist rest, which would make the board slightly smaller. In general, it's a large keyboard that takes up a lot of space, so it isn't a good choice if you're in a tight work environment. With those minor shortcomings aside, it's an extremely comfortable keyboard that's a great choice if you're looking for an ergonomic option

Anyway, I unbox, and it's great. Nice and heavy coupled with the rubber feet has it sitting strong and tall on my desk.

The Logitech ERGO K860 Wireless Split Keyboard is the best ergonomic keyboard we've tested that doesn't use mechanical switches. It's a split-design keyboard with negative incline settings to alleviate stress on your wrists. It also comes with a plushy wrist rest attached for extra support for your wrists during those long days spent typing away

Still, other options that I saw include the Logitech Ergo K860 and Microsoft surface ergonomic keyboard, but I feel like they don't offer anything new compared to the Sculpt and are more expensive. Split keyboards from Kinesis, Ergodex or Matias are quite a bit more expensive and mostly unavailable in Portugal with the PT key layout.

It has been working fine since I bought it in March. Findings:. - Works as expected when connected via Bluetooth, the problem only occurs when using the unified receiver. - It seems like the keys have not swapped but rather the keyboard layout has switched to Windows layout.

The Logitech ERGO K860 is a nice ergonomic keyboard with a curved design. While this type of layout might take some time to get used to, it reduces wrist strain and is very comfortable to type on once you get it right. The board is well-built and features negative angled feet as well

It really is unfortunate the Logitech decided to put the FN- Key where they did on the Logitech MX Keys. It's an amazing keyboard and I love typing on it, but they made a really poor decision. First of all, you have to use Shift + F10 now since the context key is no longer present. Secondly, having the FN key where it is is AWFUL for mouse gestures.
