I needed a replacement phone holder after suffering with an unsecured MagSafe puck that would always drop my phone at the slightest bump. And my car for sure doesn’t have a smooth ride. This thing is the type of product I expected from Lifeproof; sturdy and rigid. The suction cup doesn’t use an adhesive at all so it won’t melt off at the slightest amount of heat like I have experienced with other phone holders

 This can actually be used as quick mount desk holder if you have a place to stick the adhesive or a glass/plastic top for your desk (if you don't I recommend getting one as a dry erase for emergency quick notes etc. plus it's entertaining as all get out without alerting attention on conference calls. I guess price for a creature comfort, but since I drive a lot a holder that will keep my stupid butt from getting a cell phone ticket by trying to look at it or use two hands to utilize the gps is worth the cost easily

If you actually need a car mount this is your answer

  The only downside is that you just about have to be looking when attaching the phone to the clip. I can get it without looking, but it often takes a about 30 seconds to finally manage to get it in just right. That's a drawback I would gladly take for the security that the clip provides. Having come from an Otterbox Defender, this clip and Lifeproof case are an effective, attractive, and secure minimalist design that works

Form and function.

Since I’ve bought this armband. I’ve done 5 marathons, 3 halfs, and 4 metric century bike rides. None of which have I ever had any issues with this armband or the magnet that secures it. It even survived a wipe out at 38mph on the bike

While I love the concept there is a usage issues with this ...

 It stays put better than those magic magnet adapters. I sincerely hope Amazon doesn’t discontinue this product. I’ll be buying a backup just in case.

Versatile and durable

I was concerned with how sturdy a mount this would be. After playing with it and taking it on a few trail and road runs I am happy to say it is very sturdy and secure. Its easy to attach, lock, unlock and remove. When it is locked in place you don't need to worry about it coming loose

This mount is by far superior to any other I've owned!!!recently switched from lifeproof fre for my 6s+ to a rhinoshield crash guard and still use my live active mount..the quick adapter adheres very nicely to the back film protector that came with the bumper.i have one in my truck and in my loader at work where I bounce around quite a bit and holds firmly! Hasn't fell or came off not once in the couple months I have owned it
