Fantastic idea, mediocre execution

I really like the Quad stuff but this arm band is a bit narrow (constricting when secure) and it flops around on the arm with much movement.

 I hate having to spend thirty dollars every time I need to replace the armband, but simply by the elegant nature of this product, it's still worth it.  If QL fixes the velcro issues in a future version of this product, it would easily catapult it to 5/5. I currently own and use three different Quad Lock mounts (armband, bike mount, and car mount) and I think they're wonderful. The best part is you're not limited to using their cases if you don't like--you can get a universal adapter (which is the route I have taken

Quad Lock is the best thing for active people since... ever.

I love the quad lock system. And I really like this armband, the way it works is so convenient and so easy to access the phone without having to try and drag it in and out of a plastic encased armband. What I don't like is that the velcro wore out very quickly which was annoying to me because it was very expensive. This is a great product and I love using the Quad Lock bike mount on my road bike. But because I have a Nexus 6 phone I don't recommend using this band for larger/heavier phones. Not so great for large phones.

This system works exceptionally well but it's a bit expensive. Having lost an armband traveling, I had to shell out $40 to replace it.  There are great alternatives for s lot less money which I'll consider when I change phones (I already had the case on my iPhone 6+  If you got the cash and don't mind the mind numbing price, I've run countless miles with this system and it perforns extremely well (I took off one star for the price).  Careful when you strap it on your arm, it can become a tourniquet but you'll figure that out when your hand goes numb
