Overall, I don't think the Lanshan 1 is the best tent, it's decent, but I would personally pick others over it. Really the most compelling reason to buy it is simply it's price, otherwise it's nothing special. The SMD Lunar Solo is a better version of the same design (which admittedly 3FUL probably just ripped off), Gossamer Gear's The One is a great featherlight design for more gentle conditions, the XMid 1p is just rock solid awesome all-around, the TT Protrail has an amazing and time-tested design, the Altaplex is the king of weight/comfort with a wallet-busting price, and the SMD Deschutes Plus is a budget option for featherlight weight (and I eventually bought one). If you are on a budget, try checking out the ULGearTrade subreddit and seeing if there are some EU sellers, that's where I scored my Deschutes Plus, and it's a great community over there.

I have the Lanshan 1 and I think it’s amazing for the price. If you don’t want a trekking pole tent, I own a few Naturehike tents that are well under $200 and 3.5 lbs or less. The Mongar 2, the Star River 2 and the Cloud Up 2. You can get these on Amazon or AliExpress.

Otherwise, the tent should hold up well. You can always drop the tent 5-10cm to increase resistance to the wind. Never had any issues with my Lanshan 1 (non-pro) in windy weather, I always bring normal groundhogs rather than the minis when going out into a high wind environment (trekking pole tents have a bit less flex than hooped tents, so the pegs tend to take more strain).

I have a Lanshan 1 and F10 Helium UL1, both were about £120 used, both under 1.5kg. Helium UL2 is what I'd get preferably but bit expensive new. But as mentioned they do the same basic tent but with heavier fabrics sold as Vango models, can't go too far wrong. I do see 2 person tents recommended quite a bit, sure you have more room but it's a decent bit more weight usually.
