 2. Right, so that's the motherboard built. So that's the motherboard built up, and we've got the side panels off the case. I've switched the fan out from the Johnsbo fan because I don't like RGB, so I've just put in a basic noctua, 14cm, and there's the cable

 Okay so we're almost 3 minutes in now and the temps look completely under control so I don't think I'm going to waste 10 minutes when it's not creeping up any more than 75. I think it seems to be creeping up to about 75 and then the fan will spin up a bit higher so with the stock fan profile. This is easily maintaining the temperatures so I'm going to call that one a day and I'm going to now run a 3D mark. Okay so we're now running Time Spy, 3D mark Time Spy, it's already gone through the demo section and we're now in the graphics so we're probably about 5 minutes into this benchmark

 Having the 140mm fan at the top is really impressive, it's given me nice quiet idle temperatures and even under load the machine is pretty good, as I say I would normally be under-bolting everything, keeping stock clocks and getting a system quiet, well it could easily do that on this system and have an almost silent system on load. So all in all I'm very impressed with the system, it's not a lot bigger than the S3 and the K39 but you're getting a lot more value for money with this case, it's a lot cheaper than those other systems. You can use an SFX power supply or even an ATX power supply if you're crazy which gives you a lot more options again for higher quality PSUs with better output without having to spend £150 on the Enhance 7660B which is about the only decent flex ATX PSU. So would I recommend this case? I think if you're looking for quite a small case you can transport around, you're not looking for the absolute tiniest case such as the K39 or the S3 then I think this is a very very good option

T8 Build, Thermals and Thoughts

 Hi, this is David from Ash IT. Today we'll be doing the build log of the

 Johnsbo T8 Mini-ITX case. This is the case that we recently unboxed on the channel.

 The purpose of this video is to just build in some standards and components, which is

 the Intel i5-9400F, a Gigabyte RTX 2060 Mini, and an SFX 450W power supply unit.

 This is quite a medium-powered build to see how this case handles these components, how

 easy it is to build in this chassis, and at the end we're going to be doing some thermal

 testing and some final thoughts of this case. I'm going to pop some timestamps down below

 so in case you're not interested in watching the actual build in this case, and then you

 can jump straight to the thermal testing and my final thoughts.

 Okay, first things first, what we're going to do is build up the motherboard ready to

 put it into the case. So, let's pop in the CPU.

 So that's the motherboard built up, and we've got the side panels off the case.

 I've switched the fan out from the Johnsbo fan because I don't like RGB, so I've just

 put in a basic noctua, 14cm, and there's the cable.

 We have our USB 3 cable there for the front panel, and we have our power button and LED

 Now, we've got a little panel in here that screws in with these two screws on each side,

 and this is where you mount your hard disks.

 I'm just using the M.2, so I'm not going to mount any on here, but you just attach grommets

 You can either put in two 2.5 inch hard drives, or one 3.5 inch, so that would be quite nice.

 You'd want to slide in afterwards if you need to as well.

 So we're now ready to put our built up motherboard in.

 The advantage of these ASUS Strix motherboards is they've got the back panel already attached

 to the motherboard, so you don't have to faff around with that first either.

 Just line it up, try not to trap the cables.

 These ITX cases are always a little bit fiddly because you don't have a lot of room to work

 This one is a bit deeper than you'd normally have, but that gives you the advantage of

 Motherboard fixed in place, now I've just got our power switch and power LEDs, I'm going

 This is always good fun, I've installed these motherboards enough times I know where they

 Trying to get the cable tied in in a minute.

 USB 3.0 cable, put that in, hide the cable then.

 Right then we've got the system fan, which is actually right over here, I'm going to

 put it on the top one, which is supposed to be for a pump fan, but you can switch it in

 So next we need to pop in our graphics card, we've got a Gigabyte RTX 2060 to fit in, now

 this is only 17cm long so it should be a nice easy fit in this case, I believe you can get

 up to about 19cm or 20cm in here comfortably.

 We do have a few cables to get around, so I recommend going for as small as possible.

 This has got a strange connection plate, rather than your two screws putting down you pop

 this on the top, and screw this plate in which holds your graphics card.

 Right, let's plug in our power supply cables.

 Now I've got a modular SF450 power supply, SFX power supply.

 You could put an ATX power supply in here, but you would have absolutely no room at all

 so I wouldn't recommend it, stick with an SFX power supply, and if you've got a modular

 I've only got one 8 pin graphics connector I need, so I've only left the other one off

 the PSU, and also because I'm not putting the hard drive cable on, just to minimise

 cable clutter in this case because you don't get a lot of space.

 Right, now the biggest downside I would say with this case is going to be cable management,

 because we've got no channels to hide anything, no space to put anything, and the PSU sits

 on top here, so I'm going to try my best to move the power cables around afterwards to

 Because I've got a small graphics card I'm going to use that space behind for some of

 I don't know how well you can see that because it's black, all inside I should have got the

 silver one I think, but as you can see, the PSU sits over the top of the motherboard,

 and there's really not a lot you can do with these cables, I'm going to tie them up a little

 And on the back, I mean you've got a little bit of an area here, a little bit of an area

 here that you can try and hide a few cables in, but that's really about it.

 So I'm just going to try and tidy this up a little bit more, and then we're pretty much

 Just make sure your fans spin as well if you've got these cables snagging around.

 There we go, that's about the best I can do really.
