 Oh hey there, today on Josh's Garage, I'm going to tell you everything that I love about

 Welcome to Josh's Garage, if you're a subscriber you've already seen this rooftop tent featured

 in some of my Overland builds, but I bought this tent about 5 years ago, it was on my

 Jeep Rubicon for a couple of years and then I've run it on my Raptor for the last 3 years.

 I use it about 8 to 10 nights a year on 2 or 3 trips, so it's not seen extensive use

 but I've owned it for 5 years, been in and out of it, I've slept alone, I've slept with

 my family in it, so I want to tell you all that I know about it.

 This is the James Barood Explorer model, which is about 79 inches long by 55 inches wide.

 It's one of the smallest, which means it's also one of the lightest at 140 pounds.

 The unique thing about the Explorer, well there's a couple of things, one are the massive

 windows that are surrounding the entire tent, which all unzip and open, and secondly it

 has a cargo area on top of the tent, the tent's made to support up to 65 pounds and has about

 6 tie downs around it, so you can tie things down if you needed to carry a spare tire or

 camp chairs or whatever, you could put it in the top of the tent if you need that extra

 and the thick material acts like an insulation.

 And speaking of insulation, that's the third thing I love.

 The entire fiberglass cap is covered with this headliner with an extra layer of insulation.

 It doesn't seem like much, but on many cold nights, I've been so grateful to have just

 The rungs are all tilted so that when you're walking on them, they're flat, the edges aren't

 tilted up like some of the cheaper ladders.

 This is such a cool little object that I don't even think about it because it just always

 It's a solar rechargeable battery, it has a little solar panel on top that just recharges

 this fan and you turn it on and you can, there are two different blades, you can reverse

 the blades so that it's blowing in or it's blowing out.

 But I actually turn it on at night because I like having a little bit of white noise

 and so I just listen to the fan run all night and it runs all night on a charge.

 And rechargeable brings me to number seven, this rechargeable LED light.

 I know you can buy our rechargeable LED lights all over the place on the internet, but this

 All right, now let's talk about the things I don't love or that could be improved.

 Even though the Barood has a three inch mattress with a higher density foam than some of the

 cheaper models like the Smittybilt, it still isn't quite enough.
