Good Thing It Gets Pet Hair because Hoover Screwed the Pooch on This One
Let me start by saying I am (was) a die-hard fan of Hoover. After previous disappointment with Kenmore, Kirby, and Shark, I was impressed with my Hoover WindTunnel Anniversary Edition (U6485-900). It was so flawless that I swore off all other brands. These days, Consumer Reports recommends a Kenmore...

This Vacuum SUCKS (In A GOOD Way!)!!
I bought this vacuum to relieve my cleaning lady of having to schlep her upright up and down the stairs of the apartment building I live in. Yes, I have someone come in once a month to clean my apartment. I am disabled and though I can do smaller chores, cleaning up the whole place is beyond my abil...

Fine dust everywhere on the floor. Nothing was broken, but thankfully the fan was **off**. I couldn't vacuum up the mess as I was servicing my vacuum, this meant I had to use the dust pan and broom as it was on the kitchen floor.

Whatta WindTunnel
Really does suck up everything in its path. It is the best vacuum cleaner we've ever had. All of the parts are in just the right places even the on/off switch - it is so easy to get to while you're holding the handle. The bag is so easy to release and put in. We absolutely love it!

It's plastic pretty much everywhere but not flimsy. It is definitely mass produced but that doesn't make it bad.Straight up bag-less vacuum...

My only issue is that it weighs a lot and I’m not a fan of vacuuming the stairs with it or carrying it up and down the stairs every time I vacuum. The suction on it is also too strong for my thin washable rug (the pet attachment works really well vacuuming my rug though!).
Love my Hoover
Works great! Easy to use

Not as good as older models
The first problem I had was with Amazon. When I opened the box I saw that the packing materials were torn and just shoved in the box. When I assembled the unit I found that there was carpet lint and dirt in it and the attachments. There were scuffed marks on it, obviously a used unit. I called Amazo...
