Settings are weird, if you don’t click the next day timer button right it won’t turn in. Easy to refill with both water and coffee, nice to clean. The first one I had stopped working in 2 months. Hamilton Beach sent me another but it showed up with both lids broken off. I managed to make one good coffee pot out of the two units before I sent the original back. It makes good coffee but I think quality control may be an issue.

But the carafe is not the easiest to clean. Also, when you use your thumb to lift the lid, the lid aims hot steam directly towards the handle and thumb.

This coffee maker is slightly larger (in size) to my last one, forcing me to turn my machine sideways to correctly access the front water tank. In doing so, I actually found it easier to make my coffee in the mornings. And from the other side of the kitchen, this maker is skinnier.
