 A couple coming to mind are going to be the X-Star, running at about $400. You move up a couple hundred bucks, you're going to run into this, and you're going to run into this in the FX9 by Freedom Ordnance, and in my opinion, both of those are exceptional guns. One is more of an AR9, which is nice if you like that, and one is more of kind of a classical European subgun, which is the Strybaugh, and both have their merits, and both are very cool, and both are very reliable, accurate, and priced very well. So if you're looking at the $600 to $700 to $800 value, I would recommend this, absolutely

Finally got myself a Stribog and couldn't be happier

 And if you use the noir code, you get $50 off the price of this. So technically speaking, it goes from just under seven to about $650. If you use the noir code for this particular gun, which again, it's just, I think that's like the price of a Glock, it's just madness. I'll put it up here somewhere

 If you're into pistol caliber carbines, no brainer. There are other pistol caliber carbines on a no brainer like the Scorpion, the MPX. Those are also no brainer cows, but the price point for this thing, that's what really sends it into a whole nother league. It's, it's, it's, it's crazy, man, like what a time to be alive, man, I wish I had more bullets

 The thing that stands out to most to me is ergonomics. That's the one thing about this gun that I love the most is the way this gun feels in hand. This pistol grip visually does nothing for me. It's borderline ugly to be honest with you, but in hand, I really like the way this pistol grip feels

After some deliberation, I'm settling on a PCC for home defense for my wife. She's not gun friendly, but accepts the idea that it's better to be ready. She won't train enough to get proficient with a handgun, and the charging handle on an AR isn't going to work for her. (A couple trial runs with my AR has shown that.) I won't keep a loaded chamber on the AR so that eliminates the platform. 

So from a size, capacity, recoil, ease of use, and noise requirement, I'm going to get a PCC and put a suppressor on it. Got to have a side charging handle, and I'd prefer to go shorter rather than a carbine length barrel if possible. 

Any suggestions? I'd prefer to keep the price below $1k considering I'm still slapping a dot on it and suppressing it, I don't want to have $3k sunk into it. But if something is clearly superior for a few hundred more, I'll consider it.
