Glock 19X

TIL the Glock 19X met the MHS modularity requirement and that SIG’s use of an FCU wasn’t a part of the requirement. The modularity was ambi/reversible controls and back straps/grip panels. I’m thinking my next pistol will probably be a Glock 45 and next rifle the VHS. I’ve got some projects to wrap up before that though and i’m still waiting for that email from Euro Optic with the shipping confirmation for my P2.

I switch back and forth between my sig p365 and my glock 19x, and trust them with my life as well as my family's lives. I've been really wanting to take the X macro out for a spin, as well as the Canik tp9 SC and see which one I prefer

The 19x has the advantage for home defense cause it has a bigger magazine than the 365 a 320 can have a similar mag size to the 19x so they are even in my book. If it matters to you when the Army did the trials for their new handgun both the p320 and the 19x scored relatively evenly but SiG underbid Glock so they got the contract.

So I wanted an anniversary gift, between the M18 and Glock 19X. I rented the 19X and P320 and didn’t like how the 19X felt. I have small hands and felt like I struggle to get a decent grip.

Dude I’d recommend a new 9mm Gen 5 Glock. Preferably a Glock 45, Glock 19X, Glock 19, Glock 17, or Glock 43. Yes I see that you already own one but it’s old and lacks many features of the newer generations of Glocks (rail, front cocking serrations, captured recoil spring, flared magwell, aggressive grip texturing, and etc).

We like our Glock 19x but it’s a Glock that’s more for HD than fun in all honesty. Cartridge 12ga: we know this wasn’t an option but hear us out. Save up get a beretta 1301 tactical in 12ga it’s super fun recoil is light since it’s semi auto.
